Approximate method for the calculation of radiation-convection heat transfer in a plane channel
Abstract
The results of numerical solution of the radiation-convection heat-transfer problem are generalized for the turbulent flow of high-temperature carbon dioxide in a cooled plane channel. A simple technique is proposed for determining the heat fluxes at the channel walls. A procedure is discussed for generalizing the solutions of radiation-convection heat-transfer problems described by the boundary-layer equations and the locally one-dimensional radiative transfer approximation.
