Approximate method for the calculation of radiationconvection heat transfer in a plane channel
Abstract
The results of numerical solution of the radiationconvection heattransfer problem are generalized for the turbulent flow of hightemperature carbon dioxide in a cooled plane channel. A simple technique is proposed for determining the heat fluxes at the channel walls. A procedure is discussed for generalizing the solutions of radiationconvection heattransfer problems described by the boundarylayer equations and the locally onedimensional radiative transfer approximation.
