Heat transfer in a laminar boundary layer of an absorbing, emitting, and scattering medium on a permeable plate
Abstract
A numerical solution is presented for a system of nonlinear equations describing radiation-convection heat transfer in a laminar boundary layer on a permeable plate. The effect of viscous dissipation is neglected; the anisotropy of scattering is allowed for by considering two types of indicatrices with different degrees of extension. The influence of scattering effects on the interaction of convection and radiation in the boundary layer is analyzed.
