Proposal for continuation of research on megawatt gyrotrons for the period January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1986

Research was performed on concepts for high power gyrotrons. The work was in support of industrial development of high freuqency (60 to 140 GHz) CW gyrotrons, the research was on the origination, development, and testing of advanced concepts. The research included experimental work on quasioptical and complex cavity gyrotrons and theoretical efforts on these concepts and whispering gallery gyrotrons.
