Measurement of the attenuation length of an acrylic scintillator
Abstract
The attenuation length of an acrylic scintillator for use as a magnetic monopole detector was obtained by a fit of experimental data with a computer simulation of the light collection efficiency which takes into account the geometry of the sample. Results with and without filters are given.
