Simultaneous measuring absorption spectrometer
Abstract
By combining holographic diffraction gratings with linear photodiode arrays, simultaneous-measuring spectrometers were developed. Spectral range is from 200 to 600 nm; spectral band width is 2 to 5 nm; recording and evaluating time is 0.1 sec per spectrum; a digital exit is used for the standardized spectrum; photometric accuracy is better than 0.01; exposure time is chosen to exclude protolysis. The devices are well suited to the examination of small samples. They can be applied as a spectral detector in liquid chromatography and for the measurement of reaction kinetics of phototropical processes. For information processing, a microprocessor system was developed.
