High-voltage spark gap
Abstract
The inductive active resistance of the discharge circuit and is decreased and its reliability increased. This achievement was accomplished by making the basic discharge electrodes in the form of plane-parallel buses, and the surface of the ignition electrodes in a toothed form, which furthers the sharp distortion of the field between the main electrodes which feed to the ignition electrode of initiating voltage and development of parallel discharges from the teeth.
