Development of automatic measuring system for image pickup tubes
Abstract
Television camera tubes are usually assessed by measuring such parameters as amplitude response, time lag characteristics, and afterimage. The results of these measurements, however, vary according to the environmental or working conditions of the camera tube. Instruments employed in measuring camera tube parameters are described herein, and an automatic measuring system incorporating a central processing unit (CPU) is discussed. Through use of this automatic measuring system, data obtained can be stored for further analysis and data handling is made easier.
