Microseism level, time variations at Turkmen seismic stations studied
Abstract
Time variations in the microseismic background at the Turkmen seismic station are discussed. The variations were found to have an thropogenic origins. The influence of ground conditions on the amplitude-perio characteristics of the microseisms was assessed. A method is proposed for studying the average spectra of the microseismic background. A map was obtained showing the distribution of the maximum microseisms at the regional seismic stations.
