Green function in theory of microstrip antennas
Abstract
Results are presented which illustrate the possibilities and universality of the Green-function method as applied to microstrip antennas. Angular distributions of power flux density are obtained for the first numbers of LM1 and LE1 surface waves, excited, respectively, by electric and magnetic vibrations. In addition, the radiation efficiencies of electric and magnetic type antennas are compared, and results of microstrip antenna interaction are examined for two collinear vibrators, situated above a conducting screen in free space and on a dielectric substrate.
