Scatterig matrix of antenna array with Joule losses in radiators
Abstract
Expressions are derived for the elements of the scattering matrix of an antenna array with an allowance made for radiator losses. The formulas derived make it possible to use the scattering matrix to analyze and to synthesize antenna arrays with the dissipative radiators. The amplitudes of incident and reflected waves in the lines driving the input terminals of a system of identically polarized radiators are analyzed as an example of the use of the matrix.
