Characteristics of circular-polarized printed radiators in planar phased antenna array
Abstract
Numerical results are presented on the impedance and polarization characteristics of a one channel printed radiator with circular polarization in a planar phased array. The mathematical model of the radiator is realized in the form of a FORTRAN-IV applications program package. The dependence of the impedance and polarization characteristics on the geometric dimensions of the radiator is shown, and the possibility of optimizing the characteristics in a given frequency range and scan angle section is assessed.
