Frequency multiplier with a dielectric resonator
Abstract
A microwave microstrip frequency multiplier with a dielectric resonator for use in the 1.5-15 GHz frequency range is described. A method for the analysis of a device with the required multiplication multiplicity is presented, and experimental results are presented, showing the advantages of the proposed method (e.g., simplicity of tuning). A frequency doubler with input and output frequencies of 4 and 8 GHz was developed on the basis of the proposed approach.
