Calculation of efficiency losses of an adaptive antenna array in the case of errors in the estimation of the weighting-coefficient vector
Abstract
A remotely controlled adaptive antenna array is considered, assuming that the presence of noise in the control channel leads to errors of the transmitted components of the weighting-coefficient vector (WCV), which reduces the efficiency of the array. The mean efficiency of the array is shown to decrease with an increase in the variance of the errors of optimal WCV components. A formula is obtained for establishing the permissible value of the rms deviation of errors of WCV components.
