Synthesis of integrated filters on the basis of partially filled waveguides
Abstract
The method of partial regions is used for the design of integrated microwave fin-line circuits on the basis of slotted waveguide lines in conditions where the Q of the filter resonators is maximal. Theoretical and experimental amplitude-frequency characteristics of a four-resonator filter and a six-resonator filter with a Chebyshev approximation of the loss polynomial (for pulsations of 0.5 dB) are presented. Satisfactory agreement between the theoretical and experimental results confirms the effectiveness of the proposed synthesis method.
