Investigation of a ferrimagnetic-echo amplifier in the large-signal mode of operation
Abstract
Relationships are obtained for the amplitudes of amplified spin-echo signals in ferrite single crystals. It is shown that, in the case of two-pulse excitation of the single crystal, the gain coefficient decreases as the power of the first input signal increases. Consideration is given to distortions caused by the second and subsequent echo signals. Calculations are based on the Landau-Lifshitz equation using the perturbation method. The calculation results are found to agree satisfactorily with experimental data.
