Analysis of the propagation of longitudinal electric waves in rectangular waveguides partially filled with a semiconductor
Abstract
A method is proposed for the numerical solution of a transcendental complex dispersion equation describing the propagation of odd modes of longitudinal electric waves in rectangular waveguides partially filled in the E-plane by a semiconductor. The proposed method was used for the mathematical modeling of a microwave-signal control process and for the investigation of the possibility of improving solid-state control elements. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data.
