A radio channel with an arc antenna utilizing spatial excitation
Abstract
The signal correlation function is analyzed for different ratios of signal bandwidth and radio-channel passband, determined by the parameters and configuration of an antenna array with spatial excitation. The method of study is based on the transformation of a uniform-amplitude arc array to an equivalent linear array with the same effective aperture but with a nonuniform amplitude distribution. Calculations show that the form of the correlation function is determined by the signal bandwidth and the distance between the linear primary element and the reradiating structure.
