Synthesis of zeros in the radiation pattern of a linear array
Abstract
Three methods for the formation of zeros in the radiation pattern of a linear equidistant array are examined in the framework of the theory of adaptive phased arrays. Two approaches assure minimum expenditures of computer time, while the third approach can be used for the phase and amplitude-phase synthesis of a scanning array with the simultaneous formation of a zero in a given direction.
