Generating a specified radiation pattern by using a quasi-optical line
Abstract
The synthesis of a segment of a quasi-optical line consisting of a series of oblique semitransparent mirrors partially reflecting incident wave beams is discussed. When reflected by all the mirrors, the beams form a certain radiation pattern. The complex variables of each mirror corresponding to a given radiation pattern are determined using a computer program written in FORTRAN. The efficiency of the approach is illustrated by specific examples.
