Synthesis of a system for the coherent-weight processing of signals on a background of correlated noise
Abstract
A high-efficiency multichannel processing system has been obtained by the use of constraints on the form of the complex processing vector, making possible a two-fold reduction in the dimensionality of the synthesis problem, solved in the class of real functions. An iterative procedure for the synthesis of this system in combination with a single-channel rejection filter is proposed. By optimizing the weight vectors of the filters and achieving the optimal distribution of their orders, this approach leads to a considerable improvement in the efficiency of the processing system (as compared with the system of Abramovich et al., 1976) and a close approximation to the efficiency of an optimal system.
