A cylindrical model of a magnetron amplifier with distributed emission and a closed electron flux
Abstract
The large-particle method is used to develop a model describing the principal characteristics of an M-type amplifier with a drift space, distributed emission, and a closed electron flux. The model proposed here makes it possible to analyze the interaction processes occurring in the instrument, such as the rise of a space charge, the development of the amplification mode and stable electron configurations, and processes in the drift region. The basic dynamic characteristics of the amplifier are calculated, and the results are compared with experimental data.
