Small orifice laser cutting machine viewed
Abstract
The ability to drill holes by a laser installation, and to improve the technological process of making holes in curvilinear pipe parts are examined. To achieve multi-impulse hole-making, the spherical mirrors of the optical resonator of the basic installation are replaced by flat ones and the charge/discharge circuit to feed the incandescent lamp for pumping the active element is changed so that the radiation impulse does not exceed 1 millisecond. The design and operation of the laser cutting machine are also described.
