Grassman gauge theories on a lattice and their likely role as a regulator of certain supersymmetric field theories
Abstract
A candidate for a lattice regulator of N = 1 super Yang-Mills theory at ∞ many colours and of N = 1 and N = 2 supergravity is described. The construction borrows ideas from the superstrings of Green and Schwarz and from a recent fermionisation of the d = 3 Ising model. Numerical simulations appear feasible thanks to a novel Monte Carlo technique.
Useful criticism by B. Milewski and H. Sharatchandra is gratefully acknowledge. Some years ago, I also had interesting discussions with N. Sakai on related questions.- Publication:
