Horizontal interactions as the source of CP violation
Abstract
Assuming that horizontal interactions are the main source of CP violation, we find that their typical effective coupling constant is GH ∼ 10 -16 GeV -2. Moreover, this source is then of superweak type and the electric dipole moment of the neutron has to be larger than 10 -28e cm.
