Fast eigenvector methods for digital signal processing
Abstract
The theory and application of digital signal processing algorithms which are based on the eigenvalue eigenvector decomposition of autocorrelation matrices is discussed. The specific applications to be considered are line spectrum estimation and adaptive notch filtering. The related problem of approximate diagonalization of subcorrelation matrices, common in transform coding, is also discussed.
