Observation of the peculiar OH maser G24.3+0.1
Abstract
18 cm OH observations and accurate position measurements of the peculiar maser source G24.3+0.1 were carried out. The profile of the 1667 MHz OH line consists of many variable emission features in the large velocity range from +60 to +120 km/s. An OH emission source of the type IIc has been detected near the maser. The G24.3+0.1 source seems to be a type Ia circumstellar maser in a star-formation region.
