Orientation of the moon's axes of inertia from earth-based measurements
Abstract
It is shown that the additive terms in the lunar physical libration series can be determined from large-scale star-calibrated lunar pictures. The additive terms in the series of the physical libration in longitude, inclination and node are found by measurements of 100 craters on 52 plates.
