Conjugate and nonstationary problems in the mechanics of reacting media
Abstract
The study is concerned with qualitative effects associated with transfer processes in reacting media. It is shown that some cases involve solving conjugate problems in the mechanics of reacting media, i.e., problems where equations describing conservation laws for the gaseous and condensed phases have to be solved simultaneously. The nonstationary effects in the theory of combustion and boundary layer resulting from nonequilibrium reactions are investigated analytically and numerically. A classification of conjugate problems in the mechanics of reacting media is proposed, and solutions are presented for specific problems.
