Causal stochastic prediction of the nonlinear photoelectric effects in coherent intersecting laser beams
Abstract
The introduction of a causal quantum potential (which vanishes for coherent light beams) in the Einstein-de Broglie theory of light implies an enhancement of some photon individual energy E = hv in the intersection region of coherent laser beams. This property not only interprets nonlinear effects already observed in highly focused laser beams, but also yields new predictions which can be tested in simple intersecting coherent-laser-beam experiments.
