A time-dependent vortex-shedding model
Abstract
A time-dependent vortex-shedding model has been developed. The application of the model to problems involving the reduction of large separated wake regions by introduction of vortices is straightforward. The model demonstrates the increase in the azimuthal velocity as a function of spatial and temporal location. For a given flow, this perturbation would be superimposed on the other velocity components.
