New results on PU Vul.
Abstract
The authors analyze coordinated UV and IR observations of the nova-like variable PU Vul made during the 1983 September active phase. A reddening of E(B-V) = 0.49 is obtained, while the 1980 fading is attributed to absorption by dust formed in the interactive binary system, containing an active warm component and an M giant.
