Kinetics of low-temperature plasma and gas lasers
Abstract
The papers contained in this volume provide an overview of experimental and theoretical research of the processes taking place in low-temperature plasmas and active media of gas lasers. Topics discussed include a study of the high-current low-pressure discharge and kinetics of processes occurring in the continuous-wave argon ion laser; collisional and radiative processes involving highly excited states of atoms and molecules; and numerical modeling of the local relaxation kinetics of the KrF laser medium. Papers are also presented on the distribution of a nonstationary electron beam in a dense gas and the kinetics of isothermal processes of homogeneous condensation.
