The astrometry network of observers in Italy for international Halley watch
Abstract
An international network has been established for coordinating global Halley's Comet observations and archiving the results for the next visit. Various professional and amateur astronomers in Italy will participate in the effort using Schmidt and reflector telescopes and astrographs, and will perform at least two nights of observations per week. The locations, instrumentation and principal investigators at several of the Italian sites are provided.
