Interphase heat and mass transfer behind a shock wave sliding along a liquid fuel film
Abstract
A determination is made of the gas dynamic parameters on the surface of a liquid fuel film, with a shock wave propagating along the fuel surface in a gaseous oxidizer. In particular, results are presented for a film of liquid n-hexadecane and an oxygen-nitrogen mixture. The temperature of the film surface and the parameters of heat and mass transfer are plotted as a function of the Mach number for the M range 1-7.
