Nonintegrability of the equation of the plane oscillations of a satellite in an elliptical orbit
Abstract
It is demonstrated that the equation of the plane oscillations of a satellite in an elliptical orbit does not have an analytic first integral for all values of the principal central moments of inertia A, B, C; A not equal to C. The method of proof is based on the classical ideas of Poincare.
