Two new rapidly oscillating AP stars : HD 60435 and HD 203932.
Abstract
Two new rapidly oscillating Ap stars HD 60435 and HD 203932 have been found. HD 60435 is the largest amplitude rapidly oscillating AP star with a peak-to-peak variability of less than about 15.7 mmag. HD 203932 is the smallest with a variability of 2.4 mmag. A qualitative description of the frequency pattern in HD 60435 is given on the basis of 56 hours of observation performed in the course of 16 nights. A frequency analysis of HD 203932 obtained during 29 hours of observation shows the presence of one frequency at 10.09724 per hour and 5.9422 min with a semi-amplitude of 0.65 mmag. A list is given of the nine known rapidly oscillating Ap stars and their references.
