Microelectronic photodetecting devices
Abstract
The principles of operation and the circuit structure of microphotoelectronic components based on photoresistor, photodiode, phototransistor, and pyroelectric photodetectors, as well as on photoresistor-diode, photodiode-diode, photodiode-MIS-transistor, and other structures are reviewed. Engineering methods for calculating various parameters of photoelectronic devices are presented, as are methods for measuring these parameters. Possible applications of single-channel and multichannel photodetectors are discussed.
