A method for calculating temperature profiles in two-phase annular flows
Abstract
An analysis is made of turbulent annular flow of a liquid film and a gas in a vertical pipe. An energy equation and expressions for the velocity profile obtained in an earlier study are used here to derive formulas for calculating temperatures in the liquid film and in the gas flow. Results of calculations of temperature distributions in the liquid film are presented.
