The microstrip open-ring resonator
Abstract
The microstrip open-ring resonator is analyzed using the two-dimensional magnetic wall model. The analytical solution and numerical results are presented for the eigenvalues of the resonator and for the electromagnetic fields pertaining to various resonant modes of the resonator. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical results from the model.
