AFC tracking algorithms
Abstract
Eight different automatic frequency control loop configurations, seven of which are digital implentations, are discussed, and noise performance results are presented. The results are verified by comparing them with both simulation and experimental data. The tracking performance of the various loops is compared in the presence of noise for CW, DPSK, and MFSK signaling.
