Continuously tunable high-pressure RF-excited CO2 waveguide laser
Abstract
The design and frequency-tuning characteristics of a pulsed RF-excited CO2 waveguide laser operating at 10 atm are reported. Continuous tunability has been obtained over a 300-GHz-wide spectral range from the R(12) to the R(26) line in the 10.4-micron band. The laser output has good temporal and spectral characteristics.
