Numerical handling of boundary conditions in one- and two-dimensional unsteady flows
Abstract
An iterative procedure is presented which permits the missing boundary values of the Lax-Wendroff method solution vector for one- and two-dimensional unsteady flows to be determined. The subsonic inflow from one pipe into another where the former has a larger diameter than the latter is treated as an example.
