Frictionless two-dimensional diffusor flow with arbitrary inflow profile
Abstract
The flow in a two-dimensional diffusor is calculated to a quadratic approximation of the wall slope for arbitrary inflow profiles with no backflow. Criteria for the configuration of canal walls for the minimization of backflow can be directly derived from the results.
