Degradation der PSK-Signaldetektion durch das Phasenrauschen des Lokaloszillators
Abstract
The influence of statistical phase variations in local oscillators on the error probability in PSK signal detection is investigated. The degradation in the receiving system is analytically calculated and graphically shown for a loop bandwidth of 100 kHz, which is typical for TDMA systems. The results show that, for a bit error rate between 10 to the -5th and 10 to the -7th, the phase noise of a typical Gunn oscillator at 12 GHz is about 17 dB less than that phase noise which generates a system degradation of 0.1 dB.
