Calibration of a six-port reflectometer using projective geometry concepts
Abstract
Projective geometry concepts are applied to the problem of calibrating a six-port reflectometer with known standards. It is shown that five independent standards are needed. Noteworthy in this technique is the absence of any idealised hardware assumptions or the need for selecting a preferred normalising port. An explicit solution is obtained using only linear equation techniques.
