ECS-1 in-orbit measurements programme and results

In-orbit acceptance test results indicate that the ECS-1 communication satellite has met all basic specifications. Test methods employed the computerized control of all test station functions together with automatic data processing and presentation, allowing virtually on-line assessment. The TMS-1 and -3 test measurement ground facilities have also performed satisfactorily. It is recommended that the same methods be used in future projects.
