Laser-guided measuring system for precisioning device
Abstract
Laser position sensors (LWMS) are established as precision length comparison standards to measure geometric and kinematic parameters during the acceptance and routine checking of measuring equipment and machine tools, and for the performance of special position measuring tasks. Compared to conventional measurements, LWMS offers special advantages. The use of LWMS in industrial measurements allows extensive precise tests on measuring instruments and machine tools. A high degree of automation with short measuring times is a ideal presupposition for monitoring of machine tools, machine systems, coordinate measuring devices, and fine mechanical devices for microelectronics.
