Swirling flow between rotating plates
Abstract
A theoretical study is presented of the flow of a classical linearly viscous fluid between two infinite parallel planes rotating with different angular velocities about a common axis or distinct axes. It is demonstrated that, in this case, there exists a one-parameter family of solutions (for 'large' viscosities).
