The compressible boundary layer on the radial blade rotating at the high speed
Abstract
Analytical modeling is performed for a planar, steady, compressible boundary layer on a rapidly rotating blade. Account is taken of the fluid velocity, heat, enthalpy, compressibility and Mach number. A multiparametric technique is used to universalize the equations, which are solved using a single-parameter approximation. The set of equations are applied to a graphic depiction of the effects of rotation on the temperature and velocity in the boundary layer.
