Prospective use of a mobile radiation system to validate techniques of radiation estimations from satellite records
Abstract
A mobile radiation measurement system was used for spectral measurements of direct and diffuse radiation. Daily and hourly sums of horizontal global radiation were calculated. A model for correlating satellite measurements with terrestrial radiation measurements was developed. Results show that the estimation is feasible, but the model should be refined.
